About Marketing Jam
Marketing Jam is a one-of-a-kind subscription membership created by The Launch Box to support founders and small business leaders looking for valuable marketing resources and advice to help launch, grow, and scale their businesses.
Hi, I’m Amy — I'm an ex-fortune 500 marketer 👩🏻💻-turned-professor 💁🏻♀️-turned-entrepreneur 🤦🏻♀️, and I’m on a mission to help more founders succeed by embracing marketing.
I currently run my own marketing services agency (@thelaunchboxus) where I work as an advisor, mentor, and Fractional CMO (you can book an introductory call with me here). I also serve as an active host and advisor within the CoFoundersLab, Techstars, Plug and Play, and Pepperdine Most Fundable Companies communities and am an Adjunct Professor at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. I created Marketing Jam to help founders, small business leaders, and creators embrace marketing, and, if the name of my Substack didn’t give it away, have a bit of fun while doing it.
Prior to hanging my own shingle, I worked in home entertainment marketing at a number of the big studios across both NY and LA including Paramount, 20th Century Fox, MGM, and ESPN. My work has been featured everywhere from the Los Angeles Times, Forbes, Fast Company, and USA Today to blogs like Marketing Sherpa and Markitors (learn more).
I write about ideas at the intersection of marketing, entrepreneurship, and purpose.
One of my favorite pieces of advice is “there is no right or wrong way to market something” — which is my way of saying that there is no golden strategy that works 100% of the time for 100% of businesses. In fact, it’s just the opposite. Great marketing comes from the gut. It’s about understanding who your customers are, what makes your brand unique, and how to connect the dots between the two.
If you want to learn more about how to harness marketing to advance your business, Marketing Jam is here to support you. Join today and take your business to the next level.

Why subscribe?
Subscribing is the best way to get full access to everything I publish including all of my public and subscriber-only content. Plus, if you like what I’m putting out, there is no better way to show your support than with a subscription.
That said, here are a few details that should help you decide if you want to click the subscribe button and, if so, which option is right for you…
I tend to publish once a week and paid subscribers can expect to receive some extra love in the form of free workbooks, cheat sheets, live events, and more on a regular basis. (I will be posting my publishing calendar shortly.)
If you opt for the paid (vs free) plan, you will also get access to all of my content and community engagement features (see details below) — the intent of which is to give paid members more access to me, my programs, my guests, and each other.
I will never archive my public content and move it behind a subscriber pay wall, i.e., if it’s accessible for free today, it will be accessible for free tomorrow.
